    Unsere Lieben Alle! Kind und Kinderchen, ein recht fröhliches Weihnachtsfest wünschen wir Euch verlebt zu haben. Ein fröhliches und gesegnetes Neujahr in steter Gesundheit und alles Wohlergehen und der Herr geh mit Euch ein und aus, aus dem Alten in dem Neuenjahr. Er schütte sein Füllhorn über Euch aus und sei Euch gnädig.. Auch habt Ihr uns beschämt und eine Kiste, welche glücklich am heiligen Abend eingelaufen ist, geschickt. Wir hätten ja ein gleiches tun sollen, haben es aber durch die viele Arbeit welche bei uns ist, versäumt. Roberts Kiste kam zur gleichen Zeit, das war ja ein Jubel ohne Ende. Überhaupt war bei uns die Bescherung sehr reichlich und voll großer Freude! In der unteren Stube wurde beschert, die war aber reichlich voll ….und Menschen

    Das läßt sich ja gar nicht alles beschreiben mit einem Wort.Es war zu viel des Guten. Papas Lieblinge und Gretchen und Hildchen kamen auch zur rechten Zeit mit einer großen Kiste allerhand schöner Sachen. Auch der Bahnmeister fehlte nicht!----Geselle Harling und Mädchen! Auch, na kurz ungut,14 Personen!----Denn uinsere Braut ist schon bei uns. Die wirtschaftet aber herum, das muß nur so gern für mich. Nun hab ich es sehr gut, sie nimmt mir alle Sorge und Arbeit ab, aber Trotzdem gibt es noch sehr viel Arbeit!---- Nun ist endlich der Hochzeitstag bestimmt worden. Heute hängen sie in dem Kasten. Gott gebe seinen Segen dazu daß es gut gehen möge---- Hermann hätte nur lieber so fortgewirtschaftet, aber da ist sie doch nicht damit einverstanden schon der Menschheit wegen. Sie wollte doch nach Pommern reisen, da haben wir sie aber nicht fortgelassen! Und nun soll die Hochzeit auch gleich hier bei uns werden. Groß soll sie ja nicht werden in unser kleines Haus.

    Darum läßt Euch das Brautpaar höflichst bitten, daß Ihr sie doch die Ehre schenken möget und zu ihrer Hochzeit zu erscheinen, bitten aber auch zugleich um umgehende Antwort, danach wir uns richten können. Also den 16. Januar 1907 soll sie stattfinden. Hermann rechnet ganz auf Euch, Er würde sich sehr betrüben wenn Ihr ihr eine Absagung schreiben würdet! Und recht bald! Zum Polterabend erwarten wir Euch ganz bestimmt. Ihr könnt ja mit Bahr aus Kalau . Dein Alter wird sie Euch auf denzusammenreisen!-----Und dann sollt Ihr die Hilde von Berlin aus mitbringen, Dein Alter wird sie Euch auf den Lerterbahnhof bringen, weil Liebitzkzs nicht kommen wollen. Ihr wißt wohl noch nicht wie die Braut heißt Fräulein Honecker aus Greifswald in Hinterpommern-- Nun kommen wir wieder zurück auf Weihnachten
