    1903: Address at the time of her birth: 625 Throop Street, Chicago Illinios. It lists father as Vaclav Zajicek (Tailor), born in Bohemia and aged 43. Mother is Barbara Zajicek (Lauls ?), born in Chicago, aged 37. On later documents, both Blanche and her sister list the mother's maiden name as Lang.

    1903: Certificate of Baptism (Dec. 5, 1903) shows that she lived at 625 Throop Street, Chicago Illinois. One of the sponsors for her Baptism was "Clotilde Lang".

    1910 US Federal Census for Chicago City, Cook, IL She is 6.

    1942: See Name Change Document: It appears that in 1942, Blanche officially changed her name to "Blanche". On her birth certificate, she was listed as Paulina. However, it appears that she claimed that her name was always "Blanche". Her Certificate of Baptism from December 5, 1903 does list her as "Blanche Clotilde Zajicek." She felt like she was just correcting the birth certificate. This tale was also related to Randy Blecha by Gertrude McDaniel Blecha.

    She lists herself as Catholic on the Vital and Personal & Statistics Form.

He was a wonderful father to his children Randall Blecha, wife Mary, Stephen Blecha, wife Rene, & Rhonda Birkey, husband Cal. Furthermore, he will always be remembered by his 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. Ray will be dearly missed by all who knew & loved him. Visitation 10am Services following at 11am Wed.
