Gail J. LyonMonday, August 19, 2013Oct. 30, 1939 -- May 20, 2013Gail J. Lyon, 73, Greencastle, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at The Waters of Greencastle.
She was born in Cleveland, Tenn., on Oct. 30, 1939, the daughter of John and Virginia Stanfield Baker.
She married Jack Lyon and he preceded her in death.
Gail had worked as a custodian at DePauw University and as a waitress at the Triple J, Campus Double and Double Decker Restaurants.
She enjoyed flowers and birds.
Survivors include her daughter Deb Collins and husband Jeff of Kokomo, grandchildren Leslie Mowrer and partner Leslie Crippen of Portland, Ore., and Jeffrey Mowrer of Brooklyn, N.Y., and mother Virginia Baker of Greencastle.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband and brother Bud Baker.
Graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Brick Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Jamie Lyon officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Bousley-Hays Funeral Home Coatesville.
