|Actual birth record for Patrick O'BRIEN who later became Patrick MCINERNEY
In the margins there is a note referring to the birth being registered too late, as they were timing it to be after his mother was married. In fact, they registered the birth almost exactly 9 months after Kate COLLINS and Martin MCINERNEY were married.
|Birth Certificate for Patrick MCINERY (sic) who might actually be the son of Patrick O'BRIEN
"Patrick McInery was born at Old Pallas, on Tuesday 7th August 1906. The birth was not registered until Tuesday 19th February 1907 which was unusual as it was obligatory to register the full details of a birth within three months and a fine of up to forty shillings would have been payable for this late registration.”

This is what is written on the picture. But I had an email conversation with John O’Dwyer, and he knew the family. He identified them left to right as Martin McInerney, Paddy McInerney (O’Brien?), Kate McInerney (née Collins).
