AINSWORTH, Iowa - Lavina Wollrab, 88, Ainsworth, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Casketbearers will be Donald Wollrab, Jeff Wollrab, J.D. Wollrab, Todd Wollrab, Neal Young and Keaton Stumpf.
Following the interment at the cemetery, a time of fellowship will be held at the Riverside V.F.W.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in hr memory.
Mrs. Wollrab was born near Richmond, Iowa, May 22, 1922, the daughter of Henry and Lena (Hahn) Kron. She married Donald Wollrab Sept. 26, 1941.
She was a farm wife and homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards and shopping, but most of all, she dearly loved to spend time with family and friends.
She will be deeply missed by her three sons and two daughters, Larry Wollrab and special friend, Bev of Galesburg, Ill., Robert and Doris Wollrab of Ainsworth, Judy and Alfred Young of Washington, James Wollrab of Iowa City, and Susan and Nicholas Stumpf of Ainsworth; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Donald Wollrab and fiancée, Connie, Tawnya Wharton and her family, Kassy and Chris Housewright and their children, Kaitlyn and Kinsley, Kristy and Cory Smith and son Peyton, Brett and Alanna Henson; Todd and Kim Wollrab and their children Amanda, Andrew and Michelle; Jeff and Cassie Wollrab and their children Josh, Erika, Megan, Bobbie and Bella; J.D. and Sue Wollrab and their children Jess and Cessalie; Michelle and Steve Nash; Neal and Kim Young; Jenny and Shawn McFarland and their children Talon and Mason; Dawn and Nick Clifton and their children Samantha, Abigail, and Emma; Keaton and Chelsey Stumpf; Amanda Stumpf and fiancée, John; one sister-in-law, Freda Kron.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Wollrab Sept. 28, 1992; brothers, Melvin Kron, Bernard Kron, Raymond Kron, and Ardell Kron; and sisters, Viola Seelman, Evelyn Kasper, Irene Kessler, Mildred Benjamin, Velma Havel, Marie Ruth and Delores Kron.
