- Harry Smith, 89, esteemed resident of Genoa community for the past 66 years. He was one cf 12 children of Alexander and Susanah Conrad Smith, and was born in Lycoming county. Pa., April 3, 1859, here growing to manhood. He came to Genoa in 1882, and two years later was united in marriage to Emma Shipman. The first years of their married life were spent on a farm near Genoa and later they purchased a farm in Riley in the year of 1907. They retired from farming in 1917 and moved to Genoa, later purchasing the home where he passed away. Mrs. Smith, died on June 30, 1933, and five years later, his daughter and husband, the Frank Littles came to make their home with him.
